Hi, I’m Arleny — the founder of Cokó, a natural skincare company based in Tampa, Florida. The inspiration for Cokó came from a personal journey — one shaped by years of dealing with dry, sensitive skin and navigating life with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal condition I was diagnosed with during my early twenties.

Over time, I became more aware of how many conventional skincare products were filled with synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals that only aggravated my skin further. After trying countless “natural” products that didn’t live up to their promises, I decided to start making my own — products where I could recognize and trust every single ingredient.

What started as a personal mission to create something better for myself turned into a deep passion for soapmaking. That passion is closely tied to my Dominican roots, where I grew up seeing the power of nature in everyday life — fresh herbs, fruits, oils, and remedies passed down through generations. I draw inspiration from that heritage in every product I make — blending tradition with intention, and always keeping things simple, honest, and effective.

At Cokó, I handcraft each batch of soap using skin-loving ingredients like tropical fruits, vegetables, and nourishing oils that soothe and moisturize naturally — without the junk. Every product is made in small batches to ensure the highest quality and care.

I’m also deeply committed to sustainability. That’s why all Cokó packaging is plastic-free and eco-friendly, helping to reduce our environmental impact while supporting a more conscious way of living.
